FLIGHT Curriculum & Spanish Immersion
Our program combines Alberta’s FLIGHT Curriculum Framework with Spanish Immersion through the Sonrisas Curriculum to create a warm, nurturing, and high-quality early learning experience for children ages 1 year to 6 years. Children learn through play, music, stories, movement, art, and daily routines, helping them build confidence, language skills, cultural awareness, and school readiness in a safe and supportive environment.

Extras & Enrichment
At Cielito Lindo Early Education Centre, we believe child care providers are often a child’s first teachers — and the early years are a golden window for language development. Our program integrates Spanish language and cultural experiences into our play-based curriculum through songs, stories, games, and daily activities. While English remains the primary language of communication, children will regularly hear and engage with Spanish in fun and meaningful ways. This approach supports physical, cognitive, creative, and social growth while giving children valuable early exposure to a second language.
